Lead times are 2-3 days for our stocked products and 5-7 days on custom extruded products.

What Is an E Seal?

E seals (also known as E gaskets) are specialised rubber strips shaped like the letter E. Since their shape resembles a fir tree, they’re also sometimes called fir tree gaskets. They find application in many uPVC and aluminium glazing systems used nowadays to lock double-glazed glass units into frames and form a tight barrier which then prevents any water, draughts, etc. from coming in. 

E Gasket Seals Lead Times

Lead times are 2-3 days for stocked fir tree gaskets and 5-7 days for bespoke products custom made to your requirements. White gaskets are also available on request with lead times approx. 3-4 weeks.

Finding the Right Type E Gasket

E gaskets come in various shapes and dimensions and to choose the correct one you’ll need to match the profile of your existing seal as closely as possible in terms of width, depth and how its sealing arms are arranged.
