What Is a U Channel Gasket?

U channel gaskets are U-shaped strips designed to wrap around any exposed edges on glass, metal, rigid etc. panels and they function both as a cushion (to prevent any injury or damage to the panel) and as a seal as they effectively prevent drafts and water from entering and help maintain temperature stability. They’re commonly used on windows, shower enclosures, patio doors and others but they can also be used in industries like the automotive sector for example as weatherstripping to prevent leakages.
